Breaking Barriers in History Saturday, March 14, 2020 CANCELLED In light of the recent health events taking place across Los Angeles County and under the guidance from the Department of Public Health, in regards to bringing large groups of people together, the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is cancelling Los Angeles which has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at San Gabriel High School. LACOE is currently working with the Sacramento County Office of Education to explore virtual options for participating in LA in order to forward winning entries to compete at the State level. L.A. provides opportunities for students, grades 4-12, to create posters, exhibits, papers, web sites, performances, and documentary presentations on this year’s theme, Breaking Barriers in History.
